Privacy
Written in plain language, because a privacy policy nobody can read protects nobody.
We collect the name you give us (which need not be your real one), a way to reach you, when it is safe to reach you, and whatever you choose to write. We do not ask for identity documents, addresses, or medical history. What you send is encrypted at rest and readable only by the staff member helping you.
Stripe processes the payment. MAYA never receives or stores your card number. We keep your name, email, amount, and whether you asked to remain anonymous. Anonymity is the default.
We do not sell or share data. We do not run advertising trackers. We do not put personal information in analytics or in a URL. The Get Support page carries no tracking of what you read.
Write to privacy@mayadruzefoundation.com and we delete everything we hold about you. We do not ask why, and we do not try to talk you out of it. Donation records may be retained where the law requires it — we will tell you exactly what and why.
Where a child is at serious risk of harm, MAYA may be legally required to act. This is the only circumstance in which what you share may leave the person helping you, and we will tell you if it ever applies to you.
